The Building Surveyors' Oxford Briefing 2008 will be taking place the weekend of 5 - 7 September 2008 at Pembroke College, Oxford. The conference booking form is available to complete and send in, or you may fill in the contact form at the bottom of the page to request more information.
Now in its 24th year, the Building Surveyors' Oxford Briefing has maintained its reputation as a highly successful event year after year. For 2008, the organising committee have put together a programme which will continue to inform and entertain, and provide time for meeting up with friends and associates.
Topics for 2008 will include:
- building conservation
- building pathology
- compiling risk assessments for lightning protection
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) cards for surveyors
- project monitoring
- contract awareness and appropriateness of contracts.
The weekend conference offers options for residential and non-residential delegates. Residential delegates may attend from Friday evening through to noon on Sunday, with all meals provided, including a gala dinner on Saturday evening. Non-residential delegates may attend on Saturday from 9.00am to 5.30pm, and on Sunday from 10.15am to 12.30pm.
